The return of Frightened Rabbit with Painting of a Panic Attack is my favorite album of the year.
In the past, I’ve written more substantial explanations and highlighted other albums I’ve enjoyed. This year I didn’t attempt to get too into my head deciding which release it should be; Frightened Rabbit’s was the album that I listened to the most and most frequently of this year’s releases.
It joins:
- The Positions by Gang of Youths (2015)
- Islands by Bear’s Den (2014)
- White Lighter by Typhoon (2013)
- Lonesome Dreams by Lord Huron (2012)
- The Year of Hibernation by Youth Lagoon (2011)
- Passive Me, Aggressive You by The Naked and Famous (2010)
